Behind The Blog!

Signed Your Conscience is the brainchild that was birthed out of frustration and heartbreak. I wanted and needed to vent and being too poor to afford therapy (seriously, therapy is expensive), I stepped out onto a ledge and dove head first into this project. The original intent behind this blog was to merely share the nuances of life but I realized I needed my "baby" to be more than that. I needed her (yes her) to be multifaceted and capable of so much more than I dreamed. I needed her to breathe, feel, laugh, cry, bruise her knee and get back up...I needed her to live. I wanted her to know that even when she's uncertain about her decisions, she needs to trust her instinct. Although she's only a baby, I want her to always be true to herself and her vision, hence the blog name, Signed Your Conscience. Here I share my journey to becoming a better person in all aspects of my life. It started with heartbreak and has evolved into something bigger than even I anticipated. It's funny how life's experiences and lessons spawn creativity in ways we as people are incapable of seeing while going through those things. Never would I have imagined that the loss of everything would lead to the beginning of a new and amazing chapter in my life. If you've gone through a tough time or if you're currently going through it, hold on for dear life and don't let go. It always gets better if you allow it to. Do Not, under any circumstance allow your situation to best you. That was the lesson I needed to learn and and thankfully, I've been blessed with the opportunity to share that new found wisdom with you.
